Media directorate of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research :

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in collaboration with the University of Zakho and Garmiyan University, has decided to open a General Medical college at both universities, after completing all legal procedures and preparations.
The Spokesman of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Abbas Akrem claimed that the Ministry has approved to open a Medical College at the University of Zakho and Gariyan University after reviewing all the required steps and procedures.
